Created as my final project in my 2D Design II foundations class. I was given the option to construct a movie or music poster, so I created a poster for the 2011 film Hugo. This poster contains numerous key elements that play a part in the overall plot of the film. With the hope to not only guide your eye around the poster, but successfully advertise and encourage viewers to watch the film.
I had a lot of fun crafting this poster. Growing up this was one of my favorite movies to watch, so my overall goal was to display the same excitement I would get from watching this movie with the hopes it would rub off onto viewers.
I incorporated numerous elements from the movie such as the robot, clock, and key. Each of these elements played a major role in the movie and hinted at the overall plot; encouraging people to watch it.
