This Market & Restaurant space was part of my given task for a studio-made neighborhood, one that was sustainable and brought people together through cultural convergence. This space allowed people to come together and experience the taste of foods from all over the world, while also providing needed resources for nourishment.
Located within a sustainable site in Malmo, Sweden. The goal of this project was to create a multi story building that will supply immigrants with resources in order to enable opportunities for living, working, and socializing within a culturally diverse community.
The everyday global market will supply the neighborhood with some essential every day items, as well as a variety of food options and ingredients to replicate the dynamic recipes, like in the restaurant, at home. It is a quick and local shop to grab what you need.

The restaurant design will embody the idea of a food hall. It is a central destination that rather than offering only one type of food, invites residents of the area to explore various cultures through numerous food options. Being located at the central and northern most point of the site it will be a great gathering place to further encourage a culturally diverse community and make people feel at home.
